My name is Joshua Reid and I am a Christian, a blogger, writer, and future author. I am 21-years-old and enjoy reading a variety of different books though my favorites would have to be: the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series and Heroes of Olympus series by Rick Riordan, The Circle Series by Ted Dekker and the Joshua series by Joseph F. Girzone.
Some other things you should know about me is the fact that alongside this writing blog, I also operate another blog titled Taking Up Your Cross, which deals with a lot of the more Christian-centered aspect of my life. Along with operating a second blog, I also enjoy writing a lot (if you haven’t noticed by the blog title.) Although a lot of the stories I write never reach outside of the “imagination” stage in my head, some do make it onto paper where I begin crafting and writing up a variety of different stories.
Some of my favorite genres to write in include: Contemporary, Fantasy, Historical Fiction and Alternate History, Sci-Fi and Suspense. I pray that one day I’ll be able to write in these other genres.
